Whose creation is Wonder Woman?

William Moulton Marston was a Harvard-trained psychologist who also helped develop an early form of the lie detector based on blood pressure. He believed comics could promote positive values and proposed a female superhero who would win through love as well as strength. Wonder Woman, Princess Diana of the Amazons, debuted in All Star Comics #8, dated December 1941, drawn by Harry G. Peter. His wife Elizabeth Holloway Marston and their partner Olive Byrne are often credited as influences. Her Lasso of Truth, which forces people to tell the truth, echoes Marston’s lie-detector research.
