Which countries are in two continents?

Russia is the largest transcontinental country: its territory west of the Ural Mountains lies in Europe, while about three-quarters of its land lies in Asia. Turkey straddles the Bosporus Strait, and its biggest city, Istanbul, has districts on both the European and Asian sides. Kazakhstan has a small area west of the Ural River, which is often treated as part of Europe. Egypt is mostly in Africa, but its Sinai Peninsula, east of the Suez Canal, is in Asia. Because continental boundaries are conventions rather than natural lines, some countries, such as Georgia, Azerbaijan and Panama, are counted differently by different geographers.
