Whose music is The Four Seasons?

Antonio Vivaldi, a priest nicknamed the Red Priest because of his red hair, wrote The Four Seasons around 1718 to 1720 and published it in Amsterdam in 1725. Each concerto, Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter, has three movements and paints musical pictures such as birdsong, thunderstorms, barking dogs and people slipping on ice. The music came with four sonnets, possibly written by Vivaldi himself, describing the scenes. After Vivaldi died in poverty in Vienna in 1741, his music was largely forgotten for about 200 years. A 20th-century revival made The Four Seasons one of the most recorded pieces of classical music, with over 1,000 recordings.
