Which city has the most skyscrapers?

Hong Kong has more skyscrapers than any other city, with more than 500 buildings taller than 150 metres according to the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. Its crowded harbourside, steep hills and limited flat land have pushed development upwards for decades. Shenzhen, just across the border in mainland China, has grown rapidly into second place, and New York City ranks among the top three. The tallest building in Hong Kong is the International Commerce Centre, about 484 metres high. The term skyscraper was first widely used for tall buildings in Chicago in the 1880s.
