Whose idea was Facebook?

Zuckerberg first built a site called Facemash in 2003 before launching TheFacebook for Harvard students in February 2004. Within a month, over half of Harvard’s undergraduates had signed up, and it soon spread to other universities. Twins Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss claimed he had stolen their idea, and they later settled for about 65 million dollars in cash and shares. Facebook opened to anyone aged 13 and over in 2006 and went public in 2012. In 2021 the parent company renamed itself Meta, and Facebook now has more than 3 billion monthly users.
