Which animal has the most teeth?

Many snails and slugs carry astonishing numbers of teeth arranged on a flexible, ribbon-like structure called a radula, which they use to scrape and shred food. Some species have more than 10,000 tiny teeth, and certain limpets and related molluscs top 15,000. These teeth are not like ours; they are rows of tiny hard points that wear down and are constantly replaced. Among animals with more familiar jaws, some sharks go through tens of thousands of teeth in a lifetime because they continually lose and regrow them. So the answer depends on whether you count radula teeth or true jaw teeth.
