Carlo Collodi's "Pinocchio" (1883) holds the record as the most translated Italian book at 260+ languages. Among living authors, Paulo Coelho and J.K. Rowling are the most translated. The Quran, translated into 112 languages, is another of the most widely translated religious texts.
