Where is the New Horizons spacecraft now?

New Horizons, launched in 2006, flew past Pluto in July 2015 and later explored the Kuiper Belt object Arrokoth in 2019. It is now traveling outward through the outer Solar System beyond Pluto’s orbit. Because it is escaping the Sun’s inner regions, it carries out deep-space measurements of the heliosphere and dust environment. The spacecraft is still sending data back to Earth, though at a great distance.
