When did the Mayflower sail to America?

The Mayflower carried 102 passengers, including a group of religious separatists later known as the Pilgrims, along with a crew of around 30. After a false start with a leaky second ship, it left Plymouth in September 1620 and crossed the Atlantic in about 66 days. Storms blew it north of its intended destination near the Hudson River, and it arrived off Cape Cod in November. Before landing, the male passengers signed the Mayflower Compact, an early agreement on self-government. The settlers founded Plymouth Colony in December 1620, but about half of them died during the harsh first winter.
